One of the key benefits of computerisation is the ability to develop systems so that processes can be automated. In our view, too much of the market research process is carried out by starting each project with a blank piece of paper. This needs to change.

MRDC has been responsible for a number of delivery systems around the world. The automation tools within our software mean that processes can be automated at the micro level. We have developed a number of systems built around our leading technologies that carry out end to end solutions for projects.

• Customer satisfaction studies where data has to be checked, cleaned and reported in a fixed or semi-fixed format

• Ad recall systems that take analysis from key questions to produce advertising awareness and effectiveness results using customised formulae

• Projects that require a changing database of information

• Pharmaceutical research projects that require look ups of drug lists and classifications

• Projects that use big products lists, such as make/model lists, goods available in retail outlets, menu items, television programmes etc

• Panels with classification or historical data that is used for analysis or comparative purposes

• Non-research data (e.g. sales, advertising spend) that needs to be merged with research data

• Mystery shopping programmes where questionnaires can be stored in a customised system with scoring systems automatically applied
